Fun Facts About Scorpio

Fun Facts About Scorpio
Beneath a controlled, cool exterior beats the heart of the deeply intense Scorpion. Passionate, penetrating, and determined, this sign will probe until they reach the truth. The Scorpion may not speak volumes or show their emotions readily, yet rest assured there's an enormous amount of activity happening beneath the surface. Excellent leaders, the Scorpion is always aware. When it comes to resourcefulness, this sign comes out ahead.
Friends and Family
Sincerity and truth are strong components of the Scorpion's friends. It can take some time before really close bonds are formed, but once done, the Scorpion will remain dedicated and loyal. Witty and intellectual, they prefer companions who are humorous and easygoing. Full of surprises, this sign will give you the shirt off their backs if that's what you need; yet, once they are crossed, there's no turning back. They feel deeply, and once hurt, it can be impossible to turn things around. Commitment to family is strong and consistent with the Scorpion. They are exceptionally helpful in managing affairs, and they are excellent advocates when one is needed.
Career and Money
"I desire" is the key phrase for the Scorpion. They are fantastic at managing, solving, or creating. Once the Scorpion sets their sights on a goal, there's no deterring this sign. Tasks that require a scientific, penetrating approach are always best done by the Scorpion, as they will delve deeply into the materials they have. Their ability to focus, coupled with determination, makes for strong management skills. They're not ones to worry about making friends on the job scene; rather, they prefer to see the task accomplished well. Pursuing such careers as a scientist, doctor, investigator, navigator, detective, researcher, police officer, business manager, and psychologist all suit the mighty Scorpion. Respect is an essential aspect of working for this sign. They need to respect their coworkers, while also feeling a sense of being respected by others. Disciplined enough to stick to a budget and unafraid of working as hard and as long as it takes puts the Scorpion in a good financial position. Many are fortunate and inherit money. Whatever the case - and regardless of the balance - they are great managers of their dollars and are not apt to overspend at all. Money means security and a sense of control, which is important to the Scorpion. Therefore, they're going to hang onto the majority of the cash, making decisions carefully before turning any of it over.
Love and Sex
This is the strongest of the sexualities in the zodiac. Incredibly passionate, the Scorpion takes intimacy seriously. Partners need to be intelligent and honest. Much of the foreplay for this sign happens long before the bedroom through conversation and observation. Once in love, they are devoted and loyal to the death. But relationships can take some time. The Scorpion needs to build trust and respect for a potential mate slowly and thoroughly.

Lisa

So Lisa (my old roommate, from NoDak, shout out to NoDak peeps!) had her baby Girl last week (a week ago, weird!). It is little Anna Jean Konsti. She was 5 lbs, 14 oz's, 19 inches long. Both mom and baby (and dad, for that matter) are doing well. I went to go see Anna on Saturday. Oh man is she cute!! She is such a doll. I Love her to death!! I can't wait to be an aunt someday... I did say someday, Sarah! Not tomorrow!! :)

Still in the process of moving. It's.. moving... right along! I would say we are about 98% completed with moving, and about 15% with cleaning. We should have about 2 more trips with our two cars, and one more trip to clean everything. I will be so glad once it's all over. It's stressful. I am stressed out, and frustrated that there's still stuff left, and annoyed that it's not done, and all those awful feelings. Therefore, I just can't wait to be done. It's all I've been able to think about, all I've been able to do lately. Grr.

Thankfully, my hours for work have changed. I am now working a compressed work week, 8-6 Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8-5:30 on Wednesday, and Thursday off. I will actually be really glad when that starts, because it will be REALLY nice to have a day off during the week. I can't WAIT for it!

That's about all for now.

Moving....

Hi!

So this last weekend, I spent moving. Yuck! It was good to get it all done, but I am very exhausted and tired and sore now. I feel like I need a day off, but my next day off won't be until November, for my birthday. So, with the problems with the time on the uhaul, getting it about 2.5 hours after I was supposed to, my wrists giving out, and therefore me not being able to carry pretty much anything, the spousal "incident" and calling the police on some loud neighbors, someone cutting me off and me actually honking the horn at someone while driving the uHaul..... In any case, it was a productive, eventful, and, in a sense, awful, the move is almost done!!! I would guess I have about 3-4 trips back and forth and then I am completely done. YAY!!!

I got a call from my old roommate Lisa. She was (I believe as of Friday), dialated to 1.5 CM. YAY! That means the peanut will be born sometime this week. They have a name picked out, Anna Jean Konsti, which is super cute!

My commute into work this morning was approx. 20 minutes. YAY! I have not had a commute that short in over 2 years (probably when I was working at Microsoft and my drive was about a mile).

My sister went to Syria for the start of Ramadan. See blog <=== (over there). It's amazing to hear about her experiences.

FINALLY!

Wow, I do exist! :)

So lots of stuff to blog about. First off, I have to talk about my dream last night. I had this AWFUL dream. So the first part of my dream, I was in Fargo with my family, and we heard on the news that there was a man out there who shot 33,000 people (so I may have exaggerated in my dream, but it still was a lot of people - there were pictures). The news said that he was on his way through North Dakota. Well, there was some on goings in Jamestown that we had to go to. So Sarah (my sister) and I went to Jamestown, and we saw the shooter. He decided to open fire on all of us leaving the high school (graduation? wedding? not sure why we were at the high school). I saw the guy, and was hiding my sister from the gunshots, and ran away from him. I just remember seeing the shooter and seeing all the gun shots, and trying to run away from them. It was horrible.

I JUST now realized where I got some of that from. Last night, Nick, Matt, Greg and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Apple Valley. On the TV was old school, American Gladiators. Remember that? It was like an obsticle course that you had to get through, watch out for the nerf balls (or bullets, according to my dream) and try to run away from the shooter.

Anyway!! On to brighter things! I went to Fargo (oh yah?) last weekend. It was great. My sister was there, and since she is going to Jordan, it was the last time I will see her for (*sniff sniff*) a year or more. Pat (older bro) and Joey (younger bro) were there as well. It was great times. Went to my aunt and uncles for "christmas". It was cute, because they decorated some christmas trees and had some decorations up. My sister cried because it was so touching, and I basically did too. What a good send off for my sister.

This weekend the State Fair starts. I am sorta excited. Last year, I tripped over my own feet (or an edge of a curb, whatever sounds worse) and twisted my ankle, and sorta sprained it. I am looking forward to this year NOT doing that. :) Nick's uncle is performing on Saturday night, so it will be fun to watch him perform. I am excited for hot dogs on a stick, funnel cakes, lemonade, and all the goodness of the fair. Super fun. Not as excited about all the people that will be there, but I can get over it for a few hours, right?!

So I am Moving!! YAY!!! To Eden Prairie. YAY!!! I will be cutting off about 45 minutes of my drive each way!! YAY!!! And the ammenities of the apt are AMAZING! Swimming pool, tennis court, fitness facility, sauna, hottub, tanning bed, laundry in my apartment, etc. It's great, and I am totally excited.

Okay, I think that's enough for a blog post. Talk later! :)

Michael

So My sister was officially accepted to Jordan. YAYAY! :) I am so excited for her. She deserves it. I will miss her not being there at Carrie's Wedding, or at Christmas, for she won't see Cassie getting her eye shot out with a nerf ball... I bet Joey's now really happy with that now... ANYWAY! :) Ah, but she will do very well. I am very proud of her, as I know that we all are.

So I found out what Lisa's baby is going to be. It's a (DAN - QUIT READING!!!!!) girl. I am so excited for her. I really truely am. Her and Dan are doing great! Which makes me even happier. And, I have a coworker who's pregnant and I just went shopping for her girl, so I know what I will be looking for and wanting to get. Yay. And Dan doesn't want to know what the baby is, so that's why I had to tell him to hid his eyes.

And, I had Papa John's pizza last night. MMMM...... I love it! Man, if I keep eating Papa John's, I am going to gain like 12922403238904589078056 lbs. Ah well, right! You only live once?!?

Weekend

Hi All. How are you?
My weekend was really good. It was really quite chill. Oh, Monday last week, the boy and I got Papa John's pizza. My goodness, it's amazing! I am such a fan, especially on a day when both Nick and I were so frustrated with life and such. It was good. Wednesday I took off of work, because I can! I had no reason to do it, but I really needed a mental health day. And I haven't taken a day off of work in... months... so it felt really nice.

Friday, Nick and I ... did nothing, I think. Maybe watched a movie? OH, yes. We watched Shrek 1 and Shrek 2... I think... Man, I am getting my days confused. I do know that we watched Shrek and Shrek 2. We also watched the entire twins game (well, starting with like the 4th inning or so) yesterday. It was a good game!! They won, 10-4 over the white sox. And the 6th inning was AWESOME! And last night, we went to Jakes, one of our favorite restaurants. It was good! We went to Green Mill on Saturday and had a less than fulfilling meal. So I ordered the same meal yesterday, and it was so good! I like Jakes! Oh yeah, and on Saturday, we went driving around. We started at our apartment, went down to Cottage Grove, up to Maplewood (the mall, yeah!), and drove through St. Paul on our way home! It was really fun. I like driving around, and especially like it when I am not driving! :) And Nick's great because he likes to drive and likes to drive on the weekends.

This week is only a 4 day work week. Yeah! Then Saturday it's Cousin John's graduation, which will be totally sweet! So I am going to Fargo this weekend.

That's about all. Talk later! :)

First Post

This is my first post of my new blog. My other blog... RIP. I just needed a fresh new start, a fresh new blog. Yay.

Thank you my sister for getting my butt in gear and making me post more!

Tired today. Got a decent amount of sleep, but waking up at 4:50 AM really isn't good for me. Although I'd rather be waking up at 4:50 AM with a chance to sleep for another 40 minutes or so, than getting another couple hours of sleep and feeling groogy. Ah well, I will be home today by 4. Yay!
